At St Gabriel’s we use the Kapow Music Scheme. Children have access to avariety of musical experiences, including playing instruments, listening to a variety of music and watching and taking part in musical performances.

Whole school projects have included I Sing POP and children take part in Nativity performances in school and in Church.
 

This year each class from Year 1 to Year 6 will have a term of Class Instrumental lessons provided by Rochdale Music Service. A Specialist teacher will teach the class for an hour each week. At the end of each project the class will perform a short concert.

Instruments will include- Ukulele, Djembe Drums and Brass.
